ECG (Electrocardiogram):
An ECG records the electrical activity of the heart to detect abnormalities. It is a quick, non-invasive test used to diagnose heart conditions such as arrhythmias, heart attacks, and other cardiac issues.
TMT (Treadmill Test):
The Treadmill Test, also known as a stress test, evaluates the heart’s response to physical exertion. It helps diagnose coronary artery disease and assess the effectiveness of cardiac treatments.
2D-Echo (Adult & Paediatric):
A 2D-Echo uses ultrasound waves to create detailed images of the heart. It assesses heart function, structure, and blood flow in both adults and children, helping diagnose various heart conditions.
TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram):
TEE is an advanced ultrasound procedure where a probe is passed down the esophagus to get a close-up view of the heart. It provides detailed images, particularly useful for detecting clots, infections, and other heart abnormalities.
Holter Monitor:
A Holter monitor is a portable device worn for 24-48 hours to continuously record the heart’s electrical activity. It helps detect irregular heart rhythms that may not be found during a standard ECG.
ABPM (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring):
ABPM measures blood pressure at regular intervals over 24 hours while the patient goes about their daily activities. It provides a comprehensive picture of blood pressure changes, helping diagnose and manage hypertension.
