Dept. of Psychiatry

The Psychiatry Department at Sankalpa Super Speciality Hospital is committed to providing comprehensive mental health care with a multidisciplinary approach. Our services include diagnostic assessments, individual and group therapy, family and couples therapy, and specialized programs for children, adolescents, and the elderly. We also address substance use, mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and eating disorders. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available, along with day treatment programs and medication management, including Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for severe conditions. Our experienced team of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, and therapists collaborates to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs. Emphasizing a patient-centered approach, we strive to treat the whole person, offering a supportive environment for exploring thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Our commitment extends to community education, raising mental health awareness, and reducing stigma through workshops, support groups, and outreach programs. At SANKALPA, we empower patients to actively participate in their treatment journey, aiming for recovery and well-being.
